Rockville, MD
Creditron, a leader in delivering integrated receivables solutions to organizations across North America, today announced that its ItemAge Express Card Processing Application Interface has been assessed by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council as being in full compliance with their standards for Validated Payment Applications. Creditron’s Card Processing Application facilitates the secure authorization of card-not-present payments received in hard copy and performs secure redaction of protected card data and images. The redacted transaction information is then available for worry-free downstream processing and archiving.
“Creditron leads the industry in terms of innovation, and I am so pleased that we are now also leading in security.” said Wally Vogel, CEO of Creditron. “When it comes to integrated receivables and lockbox processing, we compete with many applications in the marketplace, but to my knowledge we have the only one listed by the PCI Security Standards Council as suitable for new deployments under this standard.”
The Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) is the global security standard created by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. PA-DSS was implemented in an effort to provide the definitive data standard for software vendors that develop payment applications, and validated applications are listed at: https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/assessors_and_solutions/vpa_agreement.
